The Joining Process

  1. Talk with Ken - he will answer your initial questions and help you see if Current is a good fit for you and your family.

  2. Visit Current:
    - after your initial conversation, we’ll invite you and your teen to stop by for a tour and meet Ken, Debbie and Tara.
    - Then we would invite your teen to spend a day at Current, offering a chance to meet the other members and to get a sense of how Current works.

  3. Fill out our Interest Form - if your family feels like Current is a good fit, the next step is to fill out our Member Interest Form

  4. Hear back - if space is available and we feel Current is the right fit, we will offer a membership spot. If we are not the best fit, our staff can help direct you to educational options that better suit your family’s needs.

Tuition

Financial diversity is important to us at Current. We want Current to be accessible to young people from families with a wide range of financial circumstances.

Our relationship-based approach to tuition is designed to support that financial diversity while ensuring Current has the resources it needs to thrive.

2026–2027 Full-Time Tuition

  • Household income over $200,000: $14,900

  • Household income between $150,000 and $200,000: $12,900

  • Household income between $100,000 and $150,000: $10,900

  • Household income under $100,000: $8,900

  • If $8,900 would make Current inaccessible for your family, let’s talk about what feels workable.

These tuition tiers are guided by household income, but we understand that income alone does not tell the whole story. Every family’s circumstances are different.

If the listed tuition amounts feel out of reach, we still want to hear from you.

Families are welcome to join throughout the year, with tuition adjusted accordingly.

What being part of Current includes:

A dedicated mentor who meets regularly with each teen and stays alongside them as they explore work, interests, and next steps, including support with college, transitions, and life beyond Current.

A steady place to spend time together — classes, projects, conversation, field trips, workshops, and room to study or just be.

Support navigating Pennsylvania homeschool requirements.
